June 23, 2014 The Star Page 7 Heather Counts earns Area students honored by Dakota College Several area students were re- cently named to the 2014 spring Dean's List and Honor Roll at Dakota College at Bottineau. Students earning a 3.5 grade point average or higher are placed on the Dean's List. Students earning a grade point average of 3.00 to 3.49 are placed on the Honor Roll. Stu- dents must be enrolled for 12 credit or more to earn these honors. Area students on the Dean's List included Richelle Poitra and Terra Walker, Belcourt, Stacy Ronning and Collin Pigeon of Rolette, Cody Brooks, Dunseith, Tayler Wilson, Cando, and Lauren Pederson, Rolla Students from Bottineau included Kelley Amsbaugh, Michelle Watson, Jordan Oien, Stephanie Liang, Ce- cile Hoornaert, Whitney Brandvold, Haley Mastvelten, Jaden Cote, Kar- ley Meyer and Amanda Monson. Students on the Honor Roll in- cluded Shikiya Chase, Belcourt, Taylor Parisien, Brady Nerple and Mason Blacksmith, Dunseith, Colin Waldera, Rolla, and Cassidy Sivert- son, Westhope. Students from Bottineau included Mackenzie Bickford, Gregory Lennert, Brianna Defoe, Stephanie Dolbeare, Andy Li, Logan Pewe and Kevin Iron Shooter.
