Sherry Manning moved to approve the Tuition Agreement request for the 5th and 7th grade students, and to place the 1st and 9th grade students on the wait- ing list as those classes are filled at this time. Second by Amy Gourneau and on roll call vote, all were in favor, motion carried. Superintendent Davis reported on the following: Bussing and Building updates; JOM Letter from Tony Davis requesting we run the JOM Board election in con- junction with the district's annual election (Board agreed to do so); Contribution from the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa Indians for the After Prom Activities; Ro- lette County Recreational Facility Public Meeting date is set for May 28, 2014 at 11 am; Need to advertise for a Head Cook (Board asked Superintendent to do so); and the June meeting date was set for Monday, June 16, 2014 in order to canvas the election results of June 10, 2014. Also present for the forum were Principals Anderson and Frydenlund, Su- perintendent Davis, Janae Boswell from the Turtle Mountain Star and Business Manager Stewart. Superintendent Davis explained why the forum was being held and went through the three and five year de- mographic plan and asked for input by those in atten- dance. A question and answer period was conducted. Questions concerning Special Education and how the district will address the AYP scores were answered by Superintendent and Principals. The forum was closed at 7:45 pm.
