ford, brought supper to the home of
Dwight and Verna Beachy and en—
joyed the meal with them.
Wednesday forenoon Jeanna
Beachy hosted a “coffee break” for the
Beachy ladies because Hannah Wagler
and Merletta Grove are visiting in the
area.
Dalen and Merletta Grove, Kierra,
Braeden, Kennedi, and Declan, of
Pennsylvania, arrived Tuesday
evening and are staying at the home of
Merletta’s brotherfLeon, and Jeanna
Beachy, Tyrese, and Alexa. Josh and
Hannah (Harlow) Wagler, Jiana,
Aliya, and Justus, of Hartville, Ohio,
are visiting and staying with Hannah’s
cousin, Beth, and Rylan Yoder, Eas-
ton, Cassian, and Kinley, of Wolford,
Sunday noon dinner guests of Ward
and Carol Beachy were Rylan and
Beth Yoder, Easton, Cassian, and Kin-
ley, of Wolford, and Simon and
Natasha and their four children, of
Florida. SimOn and Natasha are from
the country of Moldova, but now live
in Florida and are involved with bees
and honey here. ,
Josh and Hannah Wagler, Jiana,
Aliya, and Justus, Rylan Yoder and
Easton, Celia Rahn and Mark Rahn, of
Rolette, and their friend, Lisa Trem-
blay, of Maine, and Dwight and Verna
Beachy were Tuesday supper guests
of Ward and Carol Beachy.
Lonny Knudson took his mother,
Carol Knudson, to Devils Lake on
Tuesday to watch Lonny’s grand-
daughter, Teegan Knudson, of rural
Bisbee, play in her softball game.
Carol’s granddaughter, Christine
Gustafson, who is visiting from Den-
ver, Colorado, also attended the game.
Kevin and Dianne Johnson, of rural
Rolla; were Thursday supper guests of
her sister, Darla, and Daniel Arm-
strong.
Daniel and Darla Armstrong
stopped at the home of Glenn and
Cathy Armstrong Friday morning to
wish Glenn a happy birthday.
Friday evening Daniel and Darla
Armstrong went to their campsite at
Devils Lake. Saturday afternoon they
went to Leeds to the home of Darla’s
uncle, Lloyd, and Pat Hjelden to v181t
with his brother, Vemie, and Marge
Hjelden, of Grove, Oklahoma.
Saturday Cora Buchweitz, of rural
Munich, showed her animals at the
Pembina County Fair. Cora won her
class with her short horn heifer, and
had the Grand Champion beef steer
and the reserve overall female goat.
This was reported by Grandma Darla
Armstrong.
Sunday Kevin and Dianne Johnson
came to the Armstrong camper at
Devils Lake. They spent the morning
fishing and then came back to the
Armstrong farm where they were
joined by Darla and Dianne’s sister,
Carol, and Joel Braun, and Carol’s
granddaughters, Casey Robert, all of
Eden, Minnesota, and Jessie and
Kendall Isaacs, of Columbus, Geor-
gia. The group had supper together.
Daniel and Darla Armstrong vis-
ited Glenn and Cathy Armstrong
Monday afternoon.
Tuesday Daniel and Darla Arm-
strong went to the home of David and
Natalie Wibe and family. for supper
and cake in honor of the birthday of
Daniel’s sister, Nancy Wibe. Others
there besides the birthday girl were
Nancy’s husband, Gary Wibe, and
their son, Michael, and Jen, Caleb,
Luke, and Ellionna, of Florence, South
Carolina. Mike and Jen and family left
Wednesday morning to return home.
Randy Schell, Kaylee, and Kassie,
Cindy Schell, Tanner Verbitsky, and
Peggy Schell spent Thursday in
Minot. That evening Sandi (Wibe)
Heilman, of rural Rugby, came to
Peggy’s to visit Cindy. Sandi and
Cindy went to Rolla for supper at the
Chicken Hut, and then came back to
Peggy’s for cake and to visit.
Renee Omvig, of Mandan, came to
the home of Peggy Schell Friday af-
ternoon. Renee and Cindy went to the
Rolette Country Club for Cindy’s
class reunion of the Class of ‘81 at Ro—
lette High School. Renee was an
overnight guest at the Schell home.
Saturday Renee left to return home.
Cindy went back to the Rolette Coun—
try Club that afternoon for her claSS re-
union and steak supper.
Tanner Verbitsky left Sunday after-
noon to return home after spending
several days visiting his grandmother,
Peggy Schell, and her houseguest,
Cindy Schell, and the Randy Schell
family.
Sunday evening Kaylee and Kyle
Schell took their aunt, Cindy Schell,
to Rugby to get on the Amtrak train to
return home to St. Paul.
Sheldon and Ellen Graber, of Indi-
ana, came to the home of Dorvan and
Eileen Yoder on Tuesday and parked
their camper in the yard. They came to
see where some of the Graber ances-
tors had lived. They left on Thursday.
John Joliffe, of rural Rolla, and his
mother, Gloria Jolliffe, of Rolla, and
Marilyn Fern Slaubaugh, of Wolford,
were Sunday lunch guests of Dorvan
and Eileen Yoder.
Ivan and Murlene Schrock, their
son, Ivan, Jr. and Virginia Schrock,
and Ivan and Murleen’s daughter,
Emily, of Bridger, Montana, came to
the home of Murlene’s brother, Dor-
van, and Eileen Yoder, Monday
evening and parked their camper in
the yard. They left on Tuesday.
Betty Solberg flew to Annapolis,
Maryland, on June 29th, to the
home of her daughter, Kristin Sol-
berg, for a visit. On July 3rd Betty
accompanied Kristin on a return to
North Dakota. They first went to
Barton, New York, where they vis-
ited Betty’s sister-in-law, Eva (Sol-
berg) and Dave Baldwin and
Joanne. On the 4th of July the Bald-
win’s son, Richard Baldwin, of
Baldwinsville, New York, came to
visit and joined other Baldwin rela-
tives who were also there. July 5th
Kristin and Betty traveled as far as
Toledo, Ohio, where they stayed
overnight. July 6th, they headed
over to Evanston, Illinois, where
they visited Brian and Becky
_Wright. Becky is the daughter of
Bill and Claire Johnson, and is a
cousin of Betty’s husband, Dave
Solberg. July 7th the ladies went to
Eau Claire, Wisconsin, where they
Visited friends, Holmen and Jeri
King and Don Cush for a couple of
hours. Kristin and Betty traveled to
Edina, Minnesota, and stayed two
nights with Bill and Claire Johnson.
They stopped in Fargo and visited
Charlie and Helen Grommesh and

visited Daniel and Darla Armstrong.
Tom Peterson visited Dwayne
Overby Tuesday evening.
Randy and Kathy Benson recently
visited their son, Jarrin Benson, in
Portland, Oregon. On the way they
stayed with Kathy’s cousin, Carleen,
and Jerome Bunde in Wallace, Idaho.
Carleen (Jerdin) grew up in the Ege-
land—Munich area. They toured the
historic city on a trolley which also
took them through a silver urine. After
they arrived in Portland, Randy and
Kathy’s daughter, Sara, and Kyle Mc-
Clammer, Max, and George, of Indi—
anapolis, Indiana, flew in. While there
they visited the zoo, numerous play-
grounds, a splash park, and river
beaches. Janin’s daughter, Lennon,
visited off and on. Later in the week
they joined Jarrin’s friend, Maggie,
and her family at a house on the
