aces and 22 assists.
St. John also played on Tuesday in
Rugby but couldn’t get by the Pan-
thers, falling in three straight games.
Rolla capped off the week by
making a run for a tournament cham-
pionship. The Bulldogs had to leave
Rolla at 5:15 am. for a tourney in
Lakota on Saturday. Rolla’s first
match was set for 8 am. sharp.
Despite being a little groggy, the
Bulldogs advanced through pool play
with little trouble. Rolla downed
Barnes County North in two games,
split with New Rockford-Sheyenne
and downed Griggs County-Midkota
junior varsity in two games.
Following pool play, Rolla
downed the Griggs County-Midkota
varsity in straight games to set up a
rematch with the Rockets.
NR-S won a close first contest and
then won the championship with a
well played second game.
' Rolla Head Coach Jenna Hudson
said she’s never left for a tournament
of any kind at such an early hour. She
credited her girls for playing well but
said by the end of the tournament
they began to get a little tired.
Rolla’s next action is this Tuesday
in Westhope. St. John is set to host
Harvey-Wells County while Rolette
will welcome Langdon-Edmore-
Munich the same night.

was the highest placer in a touma—
ment in Velva last week.
Moberg finished‘with a 103, good
for sole possession of sixth place.
Libbly Dulmage of Rugby won the
event by 13 strokes with an 82.
Dunseith’s Rozalind Strong fin-
ished in a tie for seventh with a» 104. "
Aleigha Lenoir earned a tie for
13th with a 112.
Kenley Davis finished with a 120
while a pair of Lady Dragons, Alerah
Baker and Gracelyn Selburg, finished
with a 125 and 135 respectively.
Later in the week teams competed
in a tournament in Rugby. Dulmage
won another event, this time by 20
‘ strokes. Dulmage shot an 83 to win
going away.
Carmen» Elick was the highest
placer for NL, carding a 105, which
was good for fourth place.
Moberg finished with a 113 and in
twelfth place. '
